Have you ever wondered why someone commits a crime? Why someone is involved in illegal professions such as drug dealing? Behind every crime, there is an interesting tale.  This is the story of a young boy whose name is Hamid. His profession has transformed him into a notorious personality. There is an interesting story about how he turns out to be a drug dealer. He was an energetic, intelligent, and curious student. He is doing Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy) from the University of Health Science, Lahore. A renowned institution in Pakistan. He belongs to a poor family. He is ambitious and passionate about pharmacy.  He often mixes chemicals to make a new substance. His father was a schoolmaster whose name is Shahid. He was an honest man. He was murdered by a gangster as he reported their illegal smuggling. Hamid wants justice for his father. He reported the case to the police. He had no money to hire a lawyer for his father’s case. He took many approaches to meet financial needs. He write to seek financial help from various welfare organizations but got disappointed. His life becomes miserable. Disappointment and failures overwhelmed him. He was expelled from the university as he is unable to pay the fee. His mother is suffering from coronary artery disease (CAD) which is one of the deadliest heart diseases. For the treatment, it demands a great sum of money within a limited time. His sibling is also studying. It was their father’s dream to have well-educated children. His family faced the worst financial crisis. He was the eldest son so he has to raise the family. Extreme hopes are born of extreme miseries. Here the idea of drug dealing originates in his mind. All he wants is money to resolve the problems of his life.

Hamid had discussed his problem with his friend named Furqan. It is revealed to him for the first time that his friend is working for a secret drug trafficking company in the city.  His friend convinced him to join this company by saying that the company requires a young talent like him who knows drugs. They offer a handsome prize and additional offers based on the skills of the drug dealer. He observed in society that most people are craving drugs. There is a great demand for drugs in society. It is the instant source of wealth. In Lahore, there are drug dealers who are involved in Drug trafficking. To the public, it is only a medicine company known by the name of Shaheen pharmacy, but secretly they sell illegal drugs and make black money. They have a supply of a variety of addictive drugs such as Alcohol, Cocaine, Heroin, Nicotine, Tobacco, etc. They do this secretly so the authorities are unable to detect and reveal their illegal work. They have professional drug dealers. People get addicted to drugs. They purchased it at a very reasonable price. They are a huge supply. The quality of their drugs is outstanding so they get more attention. It attracts its customers. They become so used to them to such an extent they can’t help without them.

Hamid needs money so he joined the company without thinking too much of it. He was unaware of the consequences of what he had started. He makes a lot of money out of it. The financial crisis in his family is over now. He provides every kind of facility to his family. He has to afford the treatment for the heart disease of his mother. She is saved now. The need for money turns into greed. He wants more and more. He loses the sense of right and wrong. He is willing to do anything to earn more money even ready to commit a murder. He has turned into a monster. There is a transformation in his personality. He became a cruel person. One day while drug dealing a person saw him and runs towards the police station to inform them about this illegal business. Hamid chased him and abduct him. He killed him so that he will not be exposed. Now he turns into a murderer. He commits crimes. The company has its gang of professional killers. Whoever tried to reveal their drug trafficking will be killed. The ones who know about the illegal business didn’t dare to expose them as they are afraid for their life. The drug addicts enjoy their services and quality drugs which are imported from foreign countries.

Hamid had experienced an epiphany and now he realized how the company had ruined many lives. In the city, the rate of crime is at its peak. Drug addicts commit brutal crimes such as People being murdered, women being raped, spoliation, banks being theft, an increase in street crimes, etc. The youth are inclined to get drug addicted. They left their education. The family and professional life of people suffer a lot. Hamid had observed that his customers are only there for his drugs. He became so dependent on them that it become their survival need. When Hamid’s mother comes to know that her son is involved in crime and has a role in spoiling many lives, she began to hate him and is ashamed of having a son like him. He had disgraced the family name. Pakistani society is well known for its moral values. Now this image of Pakistan is ruined by such people. His mother disowned him so he left his family. Life becomes more miserable and worsens despite having wealth he felt like he has nothing.

The Inter-Services Intelligence is the premier intelligence agency of Pakistan. It is responsible for gathering, processing, and analyzing any information regarding illegal works in the country. One day there is a raid on this drug dealing company. Some were killed in the operation and some were arrested. Hamid is also arrested. They are charged with life imprisonment. Hamid is felt guilty and he regrets what he has done. He missed his family a lot. This is the story of Hamid and how greed for money turns him into a criminal and ruined his life.
